Hey,
So I found an article on the release of the new Ipad2. One of the main focuses on the article was what the reaction people will have regarding its release. They seemed confident that people would have a positive reaction but I found otherwise. I looked at other blogs on the Internet regarding the Ipad2 release and it was not positive. I only found two or three comments talking about how they like the Ipad2. I will have to agree with the negative comments myself. They talk about how the Ipad2 is coming out to soon after the original Ipad is out. I agree that it is in a way ridicoulse that they upgrade such a product so soon after its original release. I found out that in Wisconsin teachers are demanding an Ipad be apart of their contract and that they receive a new one every time it is updated. I don't even buy things like that for the main reason that soon enough what I have is going to be old. Something new and better is going to come out right after. This reminds me of the commercial I saw about technology advancing so fast. A man bought a 3-D T.V and as the movers were moving it in the movers truck was advertising a 4-D T.V. That scenario is very true because it is happening with the Ipad. In my opinion they need to create the best device they possibly can then release it. Don't release something that can easily be improved.

Southpaw,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you all the way here. Many companies, but Apple especially, release updated products too soon after the previous one was just released. It has just been a year since the first iPad has come out and now the second version is already here. From our view point as the consumer this is very irritating to us because we keep on spending money. I agree with you on they should make the product at its fullest capability from the start. But from a business stand point this is making them money. Apple will keep doing this process to their products because they know no matter how many versions of their technology they put out people are going to buy them.
